Ariel Morandi
CEO, Coach & Inspirational Speaker
Ariel Morandi is a visionary leader with nearly 30 years of experience in the Technology and Services industry, specializing in building companies from the ground up. Starting his career in 1995 with Acer, the first tech company in Costa Rica, Ariel's journey includes pivotal roles at Sykes, IBM, and HP, where he served as Regional Customer Experience Manager. His expertise in culture implementation, business acumen, and talent acquisition has made him a standout figure in the industry.
In 2012, Ariel established VMware in Costa Rica, growing it to 770 employees within five years and representing every corporate organization. In 2018, he brought Palo Alto Networks, a leading Cybersecurity company, to Costa Rica. Most recently, in 2022, Ariel founded Databricks Costa Rica, a Data & AI company, which grew to 170 employees in under two years, encompassing a broad range of corporate functions.
Ariel’s passion lies in creating workplaces where employees thrive, often described as the best places they’ve ever worked. He is a highly regarded expert in leadership, career development, and organizational strategy, with a deep understanding of the Costa Rica Technology market and Free Trade Zone operations.
